Training and Career Excellence

Below is an outline of the types of development and support Aspire provides to its staff.

Orientation

In-Person Orientation (Virtual options for out of state employees)

This comprehensive orientation includes:


  • Informational Sessions on various departments within Aspire Indiana Health with focus on Aspire Culture, Workplace Wellbeing, and Employee Integration.
  • Training on PI (Predictive Index)
  • Catered lunch 
  • Opportunities for contact with various levels of leadership to ask questions and address any specific needs throughout the onboarding process.


Virtual Clinical Orientation

Clinical orientation trainings are tailored based on the clinical level of each position and include the following topics:

  • Core Clinical Models:
      • Motivational Interviewing
      • Recovery Model
      • Trauma Informed Care
      • Integrated Care
  • Billing Processes and Documentation
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Training
 
LMS

Relias, our Learning Management System, offers a variety of online training courses, certifications, and resources designed to improve skills, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and enhance professional development.


Training topics include clinical care, mental health, patient safety, leadership development, compliance regulations, and more.


Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Relias offers a wide array of modules that are accredited for Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which are approved by various licensing boards. Upon successful completion of these approved modules, participants are eligible to receive CEUs.


  • 4,500 certified or accredited courses
  • 200 industry accreditations
  • 250 unique certificates awarded


Relias is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). 



MHAT (Mental Health Awareness Training)


Thanks to the MHAT Grant, we are able to offer a variety of training programs both within Aspire and in the communities we serve. Some of these training sessions are specifically geared toward youth, such as Youth Mental Health First Aid and SOS: Signs of Suicide. Additionally, we provide a range of training that is applicable to all age groups, including Mental Health First Aid, Psychological First Aid, De-Escalation, CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention), and QPR (suicide prevention). We are pleased to offer all of these training opportunities at no cost to participants, making it a valuable benefit for any organization or group to partner with Aspire Indiana Health.
